Further to my article about "Human Rights", the little cartoon or "caricature" above was enough to cause death threats to be made to Kurt Westergaard, the Danish artist who drew it. This is called "Freedom of Expression": you have the right to draw a cartoon; I have the right to say that you have offended my beliefs and therefore I can kill you. Funny thing "freedom" isn't it?
The good news is that some of the vermin who allegedly plotted his death have been arrested. The bad news I suppose is that if they are proven guilty, instead of being stoned to death or having their hands amputated, they will probably enjoy a short and perhaps not entirely uncomfortable time in jail at the expense of the Danish taxpayer.
Until the next time
