Valentine's Day Again

Once again 14th February,, "Valentine's Day" has come around.
 
Five years ago I wrote about this  - to me - grievous topic.  Sympathetic people advised me that "time is the great healer" etc.  A psychologist friend told me that "it will take six months"
 
It didn't: it took almost five years.
 
I shall never trust a woman - emotionally - again, and indeed I sincerely hope that the opportunity to do so never arises again in my lifetime.
